Nigeria reported the first corona virus-confirmed case on 27 February in the state of Lagos. The infected individual is a man who arrived in the country on 25 February from Milan, Italy and showed symptoms of the virus. He was quarantined at the Lagos State Bio-security Facilities and samples were taken for testing. The case was confirmed by the Virology Laboratory of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. He is currently being treated at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos. The cases of Corona-virus is now drastically increasing in the world with the latest statistic shows that about 218,126 case of the deathly Corona virus had been report.
