NDC Cares: Joining Forces for a Cleaner Community"



 


As part of our commitment to serving the community, Friends of  Hon. Amankwaah(New Democratic Congress )organized a clean-up exercise in the Kwabre East. Our goal was to bring together party members, community leaders, and residents to make a positive impact on our environment.


On Sunday, August 18, 2024, our team of volunteers gathered at the Mamponteng station, armed with trash bags, gloves, and a determination to make a difference. We split into groups and tackled different areas of the market, picking up litter, removing weeds, and cleaning up graffiti.


In just a few hours, we collected over 100 bags of trash and made a significant improvement to the market's appearance. But more importantly, we brought the community together and raised awareness about the importance of keeping our environment clean.
